  1. Eden Prairie MN
    Dear Connie and family,

It has been years since we have seen or spoken to each other, but I recall the fun times we shared and how close you were to your family. Although I only knew your parents briefly, I remember your mother as a very special lady who meant very much to you. I was there when you lost your father so tragically and now I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family as you mourn the loss of your mother. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hold onto the great memories.

    Take care,
    Loree

    Dear Gentzkow Family,
Please accept my condolences on the death of your mother. No matter how old your are, I think the loss of a parent brings you back to many of the feelings you had as a child, as well as a new appreciation of what that parent meant to you. It is a blessing that you can console each other and see your mom’s legacy in her children and grandchildren. You are in my prayers.

    Paul and family,

Please accept my condolances on the passing of your mother. She was an incredible woman! I enjoyed the time I spent with you and your family at Cass lake. Like my mom, they were all saints to have raised us and kept us on the straight and narrow! I can see the Shanley Quaterback club in the sky welcoming her with open arms!

  14. moorhead mnDear Gentzkow family,
Please accept our condolences on the passing of Alice. We wanted to tell you of our connection to her. I worked with Alice for a year at the JC Penney store downtown when I was about 20 years old…she was so kind and fun to be around and so beautiful.
Many years later my mother and dad connected with her and Frank and they had some social times, dinners, etc. They talked of them up until the time of Frank’s passing.
We just wanted to pass on you that they are remembered fondly and we’re sorry for your loss.

  15. West Fargo ND
I worked with Alice at Rosewood on Broadway. There was never a day that she did not have a smile or bring a smile to everyones face that she worked with. She was such a joy to work with and such a good friend to have. I have thought of her often since I left Rosewood and I have missed her friendship. She truly was a remarkable woman and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. My thoughts are with you as a family during this time. Alce…rest in peace.

  16. Luverne MN
My wife and I had the pleasure of knowing Alice as a friend and co-worker at the Fargo Nursing Home, now called Rosewood on Broadway. I remember meeting Alice one of my first days at work as a nursing assistant. I was a college student, and Alice and the other great ladies on the 4th floor took me under their wings and taught me how to be a caring, compassionate caregiver. Alice was a special lady who took an interest in me. There was a young lady working at the home that Alice thought was a good match for me, and she worked her magic by helping us notice one another. Nancy was her name, and we got engaged and married later that year. I am sad to say that Nancy and I did not stay in touch with Alice as much as we should have, but I can honestly say that because of Alice, I met my wife and we have been together for 26 years. Alice will always have a special place in our hearts. Our sympathy goes out to Alice’s family.

Knowing Alice through Tom and going to school with Tom years ago at St. Mary’s and high Schoolknowing that she was a very compassionate, caring, kind and considerate person. She was a wonderful and loving mother. She always had a smile and was very nice to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all. I will always remember her for her smile and kindness she showed me in grade school. My prayers and sympathies to you Tom and your entire family. May your mom have a SAFE JOURNEY and May she REST IN PEACE!!!

  20. Pocatello IDMy condolences to all of Alice’s family as you mourn her recent death. I vividly remember when your mom and my cousin Frank (Frankie John) got married in 1955.

I had a nice phone chat with Alice about a year ago. She verified that Tom was the West Fargo school board person “in the news”. She also bragged about how well all of her “kids” were doing.

She was a great lady, and I have fond memories of her and your dad.
