Alice Walsh

Alice Walsh, 94, Fargo, ND, died Saturday, October 15, 2005 in the Evergreens, Fargo. Alice Josephine Hanson was born April 1, 1911 in Lake Park, MN where she grew up. She graduated from Detroit Lakes High School and moved to Fargo in 1931 where she attended Interstate Business College and Moorhead State University. She worked for Sears until 1950. She and Cyril A. Walsh were married in Fargo on April 29, 1950. Cyril passed away in 2001. Alice lived at Riverview Place from the fall of 1998 until recently moving to the Evergreens. She is survived by her son:, Gerald Johnson, (Bernie Evert), Sabin, MN; her stepson, Michael (Connie) Walsh, Fargo, ND; six grandchildren: Cindy Grella, Santa Rosa, CA, Guy Johnson, Santa Rosa, CA, Steve Johnson, San Jose, CA, Jonathan Walsh, Anacortes, WA, Ginger Torgrimson, St. Mary?s Georgia, and Daniel Walsh, Fargo, ND; eight great grandchildren: Kate and Maxwell Grella, Kaila and Matthew Johnson, Gunnar and Kelsy Torgrimson, and Zach and Lian Walsh.
