Allan Engel

Allan passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the Elim Care Center in Fargo at the age of 76. Allan was born on June 13, 1932, in Hillsboro, the son of Edmund and Minnie (Forde) Engel. He grew up on the family farm near Hillsboro and attended country school. He farmed with his family for many years. Allan was a life long member of Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro where he was baptized and confirmed. Allan is survived by his brother, Dennis of Hillsboro; his sister, Delores Smith of Scottsdale, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wallace; and sisters - Lorraine, Lois and Sylvia.
