  5. Kathy and family, I am sorry for your loss. Allen was a wonderful man. I spent many hours working with him on big projects at the NDDOT. He was a wonderful mentor and an all around good guy. When things went bad on a project he always stayed calm and cool and helped to develop a solution that was equitable to everyone. I miss his laugh and remember his love of cars. He is in our thoughts and prayers as is his family. We shall all miss him dearly.

  6. I have known Allen for at least 40 to 45 years. We have been friends and at one point neighbors in the Prairiewood Subdivision in Fargo after I sold him and Kathy a home there. Even though we moved to Arizona years ago we have stayed in touch and have seen each other many times over the years. He and Kathy are the kind of people who even though time goes by, we simply picked up from there and it was like we had never been apart. We were able to see Allen and Kathy about a month ago while in Fargo after he had just entered the hospital.

Allen was one of the nicest, caring, and most peaceful guys I have ever known. I will miss him. He set a great example for many people and I know he helped many, many people on their life’s path. I rest in knowing he is at peace, disease free, and now with our Heavenly Father. God bless Allen, God bless Kathy and family.
