Amelia Bowers

Amelia R. (Banda) Bowers, 70, Emerado, ND, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. She was born on March 10, 1944 in Carrizo Springs, TX to Ramon B. and Maria (Menchaca) Rodriguez. She grew up in Texas before moving to Adrian, MI where she attended school.
In September 1969 she married Garry Lee Bowers Sr. in Adrian, MI where they started their family. She later moved back to Texas. Amelia lived in North Dakota for the past 25 years.
She is survived by her children, Anna R. (Banda) Leonard, Angelica (Banda) Cantu, Garry Lee Bowers Jr., 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her common law husband of 30 years, Eustaquio Reyes; brothers and sisters from Texas and Michigan; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
