Anna “Ann” M. Lucy, 85, Fargo passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at her home.

Ann Bohl was born to Jack and Katie (Fettig) Bohl on November 17, 1939 in rural Berwick, ND. She married Gene Lucy on October 13, 1959 at St. Anselm’s Catholic Church in Fulda, ND. They moved to Valley City, Finley, and Fargo, ND while Gene worked for NW Bell.

Ann was an active volunteer in her church having served countless funeral lunches, taught faith formation, on the board of MACH 1, and leader in CHRP (Christ Renews His Parish). She also volunteered with Hospice of the Red River Valley.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, and tending to her flowers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Hospice of the RRV and Pro Choice.

Ann is survived by her husband; children: Roxanne May (Mark) Fargo, ND, Dale Lucy (Marilyn) St. Josephs, MI, Brenda Lucy (Janelle) Minneapolis, MN; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters: Barbara Vannett (Larry) Minot, ND, Rosie Rodriquez, Minot, ND, Linda Volk (Daniel) Karlsruhe, ND, brothers: Phillip (Sharon) Towner, ND, Lewis, Minot, ND, George (Mary Anne) Minot, ND, James (Shelly) Upham, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Raymond Lucy; daughter: Ramona “Mona” Lucy; granddaughter, Amanda May; sisters: Theresa Palmer, Margaret Diebert, Lena Keller, Regina Guffey; brothers-in-law, Joe Keller, Corwin Guffey, Leonard Palmer and Martin Diebert, and sister-in-law, Mary Bohl.
