Anna Pearl Nystuen of Fargo, ND passed away at the age of 99 on March 23, 2019. Anna was born on December 30, 1919 to Axel and Clara Person. She grew up in rural Evansville, Minnesota, graduated from Kron Elementary school in 1934 and Evansville High School in 1938. She went to business college in Fargo and worked as a bookkeeper at Amenia Seed and Grain for four years. Ann married Peder Nystuen May 25, 1943 at the Lutheran church in Hastings, Nebraska. The next three years were spent at several locations in Nebraska while Peder served in World War II. Since 1946 resided in Fargo, ND. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She had strong faith and was a member of First Lutheran Church of Fargo since 1946 and took part in a number of bible studies and was a member of a women’s church circle for many years. Her hobbies were knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed bridge with friends and was a member of a bridge club for many years. She is survived by two children Paul (Signe) Nystuen, West Fargo, ND and John (Susan) Nystuen rural Alamo, ND. Seven grandchildren, Erick (Melisa), Michael, Matthew, Abigail, Jessica, Jeffrey, Peder (Katie) and Adam. Six great grandchildren Kaileah, William, Harrison, Trysten, Lilyahna, Evie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Axel and Clara, brother, Selmer, husband Peder, and daughter Gail. Memorials preferred to First Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND and Hospice of the Red River Valley. There will be a memorials service at 11:00 Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center with visitation one hour before.
