Ann Tupa

Ann Tupa, age 88, Fargo, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2005, in Villa Maria, Fargo. Ann Josephine Kubesh was born at Vesleyville, ND, on August 7, 1916. She grew up on the farm outside of Vesleyville, and attended St. Aloysius School at Oakwood, ND. Ann married Edward R. Tupa on June 14, 1939, at Vesleyville, ND. They lived on a farm near Larimore, ND, for a number of years before moving to Minto, ND. They returned to Larimore in 1958. Ann worked at the Grand Forks County Home in Larimore before joining the Johnson Store headquarters as distribution clerk/assistant manager. She worked at the Johnson Store headquarters from 1961 to 1980. Mr. Tupa passed away in 1980. In 1986, she came to Fargo. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Amelia. She is survived by her children, Edward R. (Sandy) Tupa, Fargo, George L. (Lonnie) Tupa, Leavenworth, KS, Tom C. (Mary) Tupa, Bismarck, ND, Ron D. (Kathy) Tupa, Detroit, MI, and Carol A. (Kevin) Malley, Omaha, NE; two brothers, Frank Kubesh, Grafton, ND, and Lewis (Lorraine) Kubesh, Cudahy, WI; three sisters, Julia Schanilec, Grafton, ND, Angela Jarolimek, Fargo, and Sr. Mary Beth Kubesh, Omaha, NE; 26 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley. The funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Mary=s Cathedral, Fargo. The Catholic Daughters will recite the rosary Friday at 6:45 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 PM in the funeral home, and in the church on Saturday one hour prior to services. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
