Annette Desotel

Annette Desotel, 91, of West Fargo, died Tuesday, September 6, 2005 in Meritcare Hospital, Fargo. Annette M. Denis, the daughter of Thomas and Louise (Cossette) Denis, was born May 2, 1914 in Wild Rice, ND where she grew up and attended Wild Rice Public School. On January 30, 1933 she married Leon Desotel at St. Benedict=s Catholic Church in Wild Rice where they farmed and lived until 1979. Annette was Postmistress of the Wild Rice Post Office from 1936 until its closure on September 11, 1970. In 1979 she moved into West Fargo where she resided in the West Fargo Low Rise until May 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 11, 1984, and three sons, Ronald, Thomas and Willard. Annette is survived by one son, Jerald (Pat) Desotel, Horace, ND; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
