"Tony" Anthony Foley

Tony passed away in his home in Fargo on December 27th of natural causes. He was 50 years old. Tony was a dedicated family man; loved his children dearly and was extremely proud of each of them. He enjoyed summers at the lake playing bean bags, lawn dice, volleyball, basketball and fishing. A highly reliable worker, he was a machinist for more than 20 years and took great pride in his work. Frequently the life of a party, Tony was known for his wit and had a naturally humorous outlook on life’s occurrences. Even as he laid in a hospital bed heavily sedated in the hours after being hit by a car, he was making everyone (nurses included) laugh. Tony was the ultimate, friendly competitor. He was always up for games and contests of any kind and was quick to find ways to win. Occasional losses did nothing to deter his friendly banter and trash talking. In his early adult years, he routinely amazed his younger siblings by being able to successfully complete stunts that he had seen on TV. Tony was preceded in death by his mother (AnnaJane) and father (Butch) and all four grandparents (Dale & Ethel Larson and Frank & Isabelle Foley). He is survived by his children, Matt (24), Jade (18), Chantz (15) and Skylar (9). He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Tim (Bolingbrook, IL), Taralee and Matt Schoen (Ojai, CA), Tylan and Darcy (Moorhead, MN), Tanner and Heidi (Colfax, ND), Torina and Chad Lelm (Abercrombie, ND), Tradyn and Erin (Ojai, CA), Tazary (Abercrombie, ND), and Taylor and Lisa (Perham, MN). Tony had 23 nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them and his siblings. Foley family competitions will never be the same.
