Arlene Ambuehl

Arlene (Polly) Ambuehl, 77, Hillsboro, ND passed away on Friday, January 19, 2007 at Meritcare Hospital, Fargo. Arlene (Polly) Ambuehl was born to William L. and Martha (Rasmussen) Busse on September 20, 1929 in Mary Township on the home farm between Borup and Ada Minnesota. She grew up and attended school, and graduated from school in the Borup area. Arlene (Polly) Busse and Urban L. Ambuehl were married on February 24, 1948 in Harvey, ND. They lived in Ada until moving to Borup where they farmed from 1952 to 1959. They then lived in Ada for a time until moving to Crookston, Minnesota. Polly worked at the Riverside Nursing Home in Crookston until retiring. Polly came to Hillsboro in 1997 and has lived here since. Polly loved bingo, and playing cards, sports with her grandchildren, and she was an avid Packers and Minnesota Twins fan. She was preded in death by her: husband, Urban, granddaugher, Jackie, 2 sisters, Verna and Alta, and 3 brothers, Don, Cliff, and William She is survived by her Children David (Carol Anderson), Moorhead, MN Janice (Douglas) Jones, Creston, Iowa Rick, Fargo Bill (Deb), Hillsboro, ND Craig, Rindal, MN Mike (Jami Drabbs), Fargo, ND Rod (Pam Hedrich) Gardner, ND 1 Sister Doris Kuvaas, Detroit Lakes, MN 25 Grandchildren 27 Great Grandchildren Funeral 11:00 A.M.
