  1. Dilworth MN
So sorry to hear about Arlene’s passing. I remember babysitting for her when she lived in Dilworth. She was always very nice to me. Keeping all of the family in my prayers. Peggy

  2. Scottsdale, ArizonaThere are two Aunt Arlene’s that I am grieving today. The Arlene I knew as a child. The one that loved to laugh, tease me, tickle me to death, write down her favorite little songs from the 40’s, and sing them to me. She loved her music. We shared that until she graduated from High School, got married and moved two houses away, and them out-of-state.

Then there was the married with children Arlene that spent almost every Holiday with my family while she was raising her own five children. My brother and I always looked forward to those visits with our cousins. We hold dear many of those memories still today.

Because she was only 11 years older we at times could talk like peers.

I will miss her warmth, her humor and the love we shared since the early days of living together in Mandan, ND

  3. Fargo ND
I had the pleasure of playing piano Arlene while she was at Villa Maria. I am not the best at meeting new people but as a Hospice volunteer I was sent in to play piano. Your mother was a remarkable warm, friendly woman. She made me feel at ease instantly and before long I was playing music that had her to singing for me. I was saddened when the facility removed their pianos and I was even more saddened to see your mother in the obituaries yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
