Avis T. Lofgren, 83, Fargo ND, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at Sanford Hospice House.
Avis was born March 30, 1941 in Rothsay, MN and attended school in Barnesville. On June 28, 1963, Avis and Leland Lofgren were united in marriage and had 2 children, Lori and Greg.
Avis worked at Merchants Bank, Nels Vogel, Eckroth Music and finally Marvin Windows before retiring. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, cross stitch and most of all spending time with her cats.
She is survived by daughter, Lori (Tony) Lofgren-Lee and son, Greg of Fargo; sisters, Charlotte (Heinz) Meyhuber of Fargo and Janis (Kevin) Jensen of Gary MN; sister-in-law, Linda Fosse of West Fargo; granddaughter, Jessyka Lee and great granddaughter, Lilly Mae Tuttle of Fargo and her beloved cat, Rascal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland; parents, Fred and Cora Fosse; and brother, Obert Fosse.
