Beverly Jeanne LaPash, 88, resident of West Fargo, passed away on February 22, 2019 at Eventide Fargo under the care of hospice. Bev was blessed to have been surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Beverly, daughter of the late Russel A. Thompson and Kathleen Moriarty Thompson, was born September 14, 1930 in Fargo, ND. She graduated from Fargo Central High on May 26, 1949. She and her late husband, Douglas, married in Seattle, Washington on March 31, 1951. They worked at the Boeing Aircraft plant in Seattle for a couple of years. From there they moved to Redondo Beach, California until they returned to the Fargo/Moorhead area in 1954. Moorhead was Bev's home for 63 years until she moved to New Perspective Senior Living in 2017. Bev was a homemaker for many years until she began working as a banquet waitress at the Elks Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Holiday Inn Fargo. She retired at the age of 78. She is survived by her children, Candice (Bob) Bowlsby of Dallas, Texas, Ross (Beth) LaPash of Denver, Colorado, and Tim (Patty) LaPash of West Fargo, North Dakota; one sister, Peg Bassitt of Fargo; seven grandchildren, Lisa (Chad) O'Connor, Ashley Kessler, Brittany (Troy) Kind, Matt Bowlsby, Rachel (Jeff) Cellucci, Cody (Molly) LaPash, and Kyle (Meggan) Bowlsby. Twelve Great-grandchildren, Logan, Landry, and Tatum O'Connor; Khloe Kessler; Kylee and Kasen Kind; Grayson and Brady Cellucci; Stella and Myles LaPash; Camden and Mila Bowlsby. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be made to Ethos Hospice.
