Bonita "Bonnie" Billiot

On April 3, 2022, at the age of 59, Bonita "Bonnie" (Grandbois) Billiot passed away peacefully at her home in Houma, LA under the care of her daughter and Hospice of South Louisiana. She was born in Aberdeen, SD on October 28, 1962, to Roy and Beverly (Baker) Grandbois. She met her husband, Patrick "Brown" Billiot and they were married New Year’s Eve in 1983. She has four children and thirteen grandchildren, although many more called her "Momma B" or just Grandma. Bonnie was passionate about her family, friends, and the Minnesota Vikings. She loved her backyard get-together's, music, her dog, and a good laugh. If she had it and you needed it, it was yours. Her door was always open, and you could count on a hug, a cup of coffee, or a "pork chop" in a can. Her angels that were waiting at Heaven's gate were her beloved husband of 38 years, Patrick "Brown" Billiot; parents, Roy and Beverly (Baker) Grandbois; and sister, Denise "DeeDee". She is now an angel to those who survived her. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Grandbois) Hein of Fargo, ND, Joshua Grandbois of Houma, LA, James Billiot of Dilworth, MN, and Jeremy Billiot of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Riley, Tiffany, Elyzzabeth, Baux, Bella, Jersie, DestinyRae, CaliRae, Carson, Kaden, Charlotte, Trinity, and Julian; brothers, Rick "Woody" of Hawley, MN, and Leroy of Pelican Rapids, MN; and numerous "adopted" children and grandchildren, as well as cousins, one niece, and five nephews. As a tribute to her the family is asking guest to wear purple and gold or a Minnesota Vikings item.
