Bonnie Mae Rutten, 77, passed away on September 17, 2024, at Elim Care Center in Fargo, North Dakota.

Bonnie was born on December 12, 1946, to Anton and Frederica (Finneman) Rutten. Bonnie was known for her infectious laughter and passion for photography. She was a realtor in Minneapolis, and later owned a photography studio in Woodbury, Minnesota, utilizing her bachelor’s degree in fine arts. Her and several of her friends made a movie about women’s independence, which won many awards. Bonnie returned to Fargo in 1991 and helped develop land with her father. She also enjoyed traveling and had explored Europe, South Africa, and Morocco. Her love for cats, singing, and spending time with her friends brought joy to all who knew her.

Bonnie is survived by her sister, Linda Bellemare of Fargo, North Dakota; two nieces and three nephews; two grand-nieces; one great grand-niece; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Raymond Rutten.
