Brenda Kraft
May 17, 1968 ~ August 17, 2016
Brenda passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo, surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda was born on May 17, 1968, the daughter of Donald and Ardyce (Dahlen) Grant in Fargo. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Fargo. She graduated from Fargo North High School in 1986. Brenda was united in marriage to Rod Kraft on October 6, 1990 and they had two sons, Alexander and Andrew and with that union came two daughters, Crystal and Cassie whom she always called her own. Rod and Brenda later divorced.
Throughout the years and the jobs she had, her favorite was to be a stay at home mom for her boys. Brenda loved her job and all of her riders at Metro Senior Ride Service where she was first a driver and most recently a dispatcher.
Brenda had an outgoing personality and her beautiful smile made her the life of every gathering. Her favorite pastimes were being at the lake, bowling and the bowling trips to various parts of the country.
Brenda is survived by her sons, Alexander (Sarah Kasin) Kraft, and Andrew Kraft both of Fargo; her parents, Donald Grant and Ardyce Grant both of Fargo; her brothers – Jeff (Judy) Grant, Chris and Greg; her niece, Brandi and her nephew, Presley; her stepdaughters, Crystal and Cassie; and her grandsons – Ricky, Will and Jaxon. Also surviving is her very special cat, Nakita; Linda MacArthur; her step-sister, Stephanie Bundy and step-brother, Bob MacArthur; and many extended family and friends.

Brenda, you fought such a courageous battle, it is heartbreaking to know you are gone now. But now, you are whole and pain free. You left an imprint and I will miss you singing, Spirit in the sky. Save a place for all of us at the table. We, now, pray for peace and understanding for your family. May your family be in the palm of God’s hands during this difficult time. Until we meet again, I sing it for you. Rest in peace, Brenda 😇🎶🎤
To the family of Brenda Kraft – Brenda was truly one of those people I was so blessed to have known, even if for a short time. She was so kind to my husband during his trips to therapy and was indeed a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are for those she left behind. God bless you.
