Burnell Wayne Bjorland, 82, Fargo, died September 7, 2011 in his home.
Burnell was born July 22, 1929 in Langdon, ND. He lived in Hampden, ND until his family moved to Everett, Washington in the early 1940's, they later moved to Iowa. In 1947, he moved to Fargo. He married Rosemarie Weninger February 18, 1950. He worked for the Veterans Administration from 1947 till 1954 when he went to work for the city of Fargo until he retired in 1991.
He is survived by two sons Dale (Sue) Bjorland, Greeley, CO, Dennis Bjorland, West Fargo, ND, three daughters, Kathleen (David) Koch, Burnsville, MN, Beverly (Doug) Larson, Fargo, ND, Jerri Lynn (Chris) Gruhl, Fargo, ND, two brothers, Ronald (Pat) Bjorland, Bluespring, MO, Robert (Joann) Lamoni, IA, one sister Mryna (Dean) Thatcher, Creston, IA, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Rosemarie and son Duane.
