Cambell Quin Polejewski

Cambell was a bright and beautiful little girl with a big personality. In her 14 months, she filled our lives with so much love, laughter and joy.
She was silly, stubborn, sweet and snuggly all at the same time. She was gentle but strong-willed and always knew what she wanted.
She loved food, pups and being wherever the action was.
Noodles, fruit and red sauce were her favorites. Eggs were not. She was proud of feeding herself and made it clear when she wanted something. Once she got it, she would give her signature cheesy, squinty grin.
She did not smile for just anything. She saved her smiles for moments that truly made her happy and she loved to tease the people around her.
Her first words were “Mama” and “pup.” She loved animal books, anything that belonged to her big sister Billie and anything small she was not supposed to have. She loved being held and gave the best tight neck hugs. She was a great sleeper and would hum loudly as she put herself to sleep, something that always made us smile.
Cambell loved her big sister and was always looking for her when she was not nearby. She had a soft, round belly, long silky hair and the most expressive face. People often thought she was older than she was. She made being a second-time parent feel easier and more joyful and reminded us to let kids be kids and not stress about the mess.
Cambell loved dogs and called everyone and everything a “pup.” She knew how to woof and would instinctively give dogs a kiss, whether in a book, a picture or real life. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that guests bring a stuffed dog to help surround her casket with love. After the service, the stuffed animals will be donated to Cully’s Cabin at Sanford in her honor.
Cambell was loved more than words can say. Every parent knows this kind of love.
Though her time with us was far too short, the joy she brought to our family will stay with us forever.
In lieu of flowers, Cambell’s family would like to encourage everyone to a bring stuffed animal dogs of any kind to surround Cambell’s casket during the service. The family will then donate them to Cully’s Cabin at Sanford.
