Candice Else

Candice Else, 52, of Fargo, died in home early Friday morning due to natural causes. She spent her last hours in the loving presence of Hospice of Red River Valley. She was a loved mother, a compassionate grandmother, a caring aunt, and a best friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our mother was a Nursing Assistant and also spent most of her time working in the Dietary department at Bethany Homes of Fargo, for most of her life. She will forever be remembered as devoting her life to help others. She loved her job and took great pride in the work that she contributed. As a mother she had given her children the very last of everything that she had. As a grandmother, she had given her grandchildren the first of everything that she had gained. Our mother had sacrificed all that she was and all that she had for her children. Her whole life was for us. She was a fighter; she fought whatever obstacle was thrown her way. And in the end result she always overcame it. In her spare time she was an avid collector of hand painted ceramic cats. She shared a fine love for her cats "Muffin", "Snowflakes", "Penny", and "Mr.BoJangles". Our mother enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, and attending craft shows. She will be forever missed and remembered by all who knew her. "A life cut so short for a life yet forever lived". Candice is survived by her daughter, Shanita Westphal, 27, her son, Phillip Witt, 24, four grandchildren; Desiree Hutchenson, 9,Jaydon Wike,5, Cyruss DeHoet,3, Tiara DeHoet, 2. Funeral service will be held at Boulger Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23rd; at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at noon. In lieu of memorials, Flowers are preferred, Our mother loved beautiful spring flowers.
