  2. To Carl’s family,
Nancy and I met Carl and his wife through couples night at Rose Creek Golf Course. What a wonderful couple. Carl was a great guy to know — full of fun and kind. Carl, you will certainly be missed! What a treat to know you. God bless you.

  3. To my sister, Shannon , my heart aches for you. I cannot possibly know how you are feeling , but know that I am always here for you. To the whole beautiful family, I pray that you find peace and comfort, knowing that he is with our Lord and savior. He left his earthly life knowing the amazing legacy he left behind in each and every one of you. Forever keep his memories in your hearts . Peace and God’s Blessings. Love , James and Kim

  4. We knew Carl from shopping at Hornbachers and he was one of the most genuine, sincere and loving person you could ever come across. Majority of the customers would come in during his shift to specifically see him and he knew every single customers name. He loved all of them and we loved him. He always had a story and a huge smile on his face. You could tell he loved life and life loved him back I just wish that he wasn’t called to Heaven so soon. The world needs more people like Carl in it. We’ll miss you forever. Thanks for being a great friend.

  5. To the Dearest Family of Carl-
We are so sad to hear of Carl’s passing and were not prepared to hear these words. Carl was a familiar and kind face for our customers to see every morning that he worked at Osgood Hornbacher’s. He built so many friendships with so many people that would wait to visit with him even if another cashier was available. I had the pleasure of working with Carl for many of his years with us and I so enjoyed everything about this special man that you called husband, father, grandfather and friend. My heart breaks for your family as I know that he loved you all dearly and with all that he was. We would have many conversations about his family gatherings and I would see his eyes light up as he prepared for a house full of family during visits. I know that Carl will be an active angel for each of you and will embrace you every day ahead during your days of struggle, remembrance, celebration and life. I can’t say enough about this special man and how much he meant to all of us at Hornbacher’s. Carl touched so many lives in the very best way. I’m grateful I got the chance to know him as both a colleague and a friend. May the special memories you made together help you through this difficult time.

Pam Seivert and the entire Team at Osgood Hornbacher’s

God bless your family as you mourn his loss .

  8. To the entire Schwartz ,my heart goes out to every single one of you!
I remember meeting Carl one very cold afternoon in November of 2021’.
He was kind and helpful from the get go, which I appreciated very much as I was in the middle of a huge life changing journey.
I’m grateful to call the house that his grandparents built by hand home now.
    God bless.
    ❤️

  9. So sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. My heart hurts for you all. Sending loving Hugs to you all. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers. Love you.

  10. I really enjoyed my mornings this past year visiting with Carl as he checked me out at Hornbachers. I’m saddened to hear of your loss! Carl was a wonderful man and I’m assuming an even better Father and husband. Cherish the memories as I will. I work full-time for the ND Army National Guard so I would often come in uniform in the mornings on my way to work. He would call me general or captain…I’m not either but we got a good laugh over it. God be with you all ! Thank you for sharing him with me!

  11. 4
    * Blessed are they who mourn,

    for they will be comforted.
    Matthew 5,4
I am so sorry for your loss, my cousin Carl George was a very kind man. He is in the arms of Jesus and will be well taken care of.

  12. To Shannon and all of Carls family, our sincere sympathy for your loss. We knew Carl many years ago now from golfing together on couples night at Rose Creek. We also golfed every Sunday morning rain or shine and we always had so much fun. We are thinking of you now in this difficult time.

  13. To Shannon and all of Carl’s family, my condolences on the loss of a great family man. He was very proud of all of you. I won’t be able to be there this week, but I will be thinking of all of you. God Bless.

  14. To Shannon and the entire family – I was sorry to hear of Carl’s passing. Carl was a great person, over the years we had many dealings with Carl and he was always honest and straight forward and worked very hard. I remember thinking what a fast paced environment he worked in and yet he always had a smile and great attitude. After his retirement to run into him at Rose Creek or Hornbacher’s and he was always cheerful and you could tell the he just loved to connect with people. You deserve some rest now my friend, may God Bless you and your family.

  15. the saying they don’t make them like that anymore applies to Carl, he was a great guy to have as Vice President, He always had your back, he listened to your ideas and gave support whenever he could. There was never a time that I felt that I couldn’t call and just talk. He was always thinking of the employees, he knew what made OK Tire successful. Without his years of leadership OK Tire wouldn’t be the great company it is today. I’ll miss him

  16. Our condolences to the Schwartz family. Carl was a good friend for many years even though we lived in different cities. When I did live in Fargo, we had football season tickets to the Bison games together and we enjoyed playing golf whenever possible. I will miss Carl and my prayers are with all his family members.

  17. Garry and were saddened ti hear of Carl’s passing. While we didn’t see him often, he was always kind and asked what we had been up to and what was new in our lives. My brother Chris often spoke about how much tha annual golf outing was when he and his family would come to visit every summer. While it is difficult to face the future without your loved one, celebrate their life everyday. They are always with you.

  18. Carl George was a thoughtful, kind and fun loving cousin. We will miss him at our family reunions. We are so sorry for your loss. Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you. God bless you.

  19. To Shannon and the entire family: Carl was what I consider to be one of the best friends a person could ever have. We would golf and work together at Rose Creek. Everyday he worked he stop by the club house and have a story to tell. Most of his stories were about his family and he has a great family so his srories were great to here. Shannon you were the love of his life and he will be missed by anyone who ever came in contact with him.

  20. Shannon – my sincerest condolences to you and your family – may your never ending memories be what keeps you strong during this difficult time- Carl was a great person with a great personality. He will be forever remembered and missed greatly.
