I had known Carol since grade school. We lost touch after high school but three of us Shanley graduates found her again at Evergreens in Moorhead. We’d bring something sweet and occasionally a 12 pack of Sprite. I remember her in school being a gentle soul with a good sense of humor and she still had those qualities in spite of the health problems she had. She will be missed.

I had the opportunity to talk with Carol about her childhood Shanley friends visiting her. She looked forward to those visits and your acts of kindness were appreciated by Carol. She enjoyed getting reacquainted with all of you, enjoying every minute. It’s interesting how childhood friendships always hold a special place in our hearts, even after 50 plus years. I’m sorry for your loss.
