Carol Stopke

Carol D. Stopke, age 90, passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 16, 2022 at her son Greg’s home in Fargo.
Carol was born January 20, 1932 in Norcross, MN to Carl and Grace Haugen. After Highschool graduation, she moved in Minneapolis, MN. This is where she met and married her husband of 51 years, Vernon Stopke.
Carol enjoyed many years of travel and spending time with family and friends after her retirement from Control Data.
Carol is survived by 4 children, Greg (Brian) of Fargo, ND, Walter (Carole) of St. Peters, MO, Joni (Kris) Starkey of Red Wing, MN, Pauline (Bill) of Minneapolis, MN; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon (Bud) Stopke; daughter, Sherry; son, Fred; sister, Delores; and brother, Paul.
Our mother was dearly loved by her family and will be deeply missed. Thank you mom for all the wonderful years we had with you!

Our sympathy to the family. We have been wondering how she was and didn’t know where she was. She was always interested in the family tree. and I got some information from her..
