Carole Moon passed away on June 20, 2024, at Eventide Home in Fargo, ND, surrounded by family.

Carole Ann Nelson was born June 8, 1939, at Lamoure, ND to Carl and Amanda ‘Oline’ (Haugen) Nelson.

She moved to Enderlin, ND with her family and graduated from Enderlin High School in 1957. She married Darwin Dahl in 1957 and together they had two children, Debbie and Dwight.

They moved to Fargo where she started working for Nash Finch. She was employed there for 35 years.

She married Dale Moon in 1983.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie of Fargo, ND, and son, Dwight (Dodie) of Moorhead, MN; five grandsons, Travis (Brianna) Anderson, Trevor (Nicole) Anderson, Chad (Dori) Dahl, Christopher (Tasha) Dahl, and Cory Dahl and Vanessa; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Anderson, Madison Anderson, Landon Anderson, Halleigh Dahl, Olivia Dahl, Gryffin Dahl, Decker Dahl, and Gannyn Dahl; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother-in-law, grandson, Tyler, and her beloved cat, Boo Boo

    I and my family have many memories of times in Moorhead. I remember how hard she worked and the energy she had. My heart goes out to Debbie & Dwight & their families. She now is with the Lord and has her new body. Love & prayers to you all.
