Carter Klinger

carter klinger
Carter Christopher Klinger was born on September 9, 2020 at 3:54pm to his loving parents, Benjamin and Rachel Klinger. He passed away peacefully on October 14, 2020. While his time on this earth was short, he brought light and smiles to every person who watched him grow. He was wrapped in layers upon layers of love from his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and family. When anyone held him, saw his daily photo updates, or heard his squeaks they felt his joy and witnessed the love that surrounded him. In the hardest year so many of us have gone through, Carter made family out of friends and enriched relationships in immeasurable ways. His expressive face made everyone giggle and his calm demeanor brought peace to those who needed it. We are forever grateful that we had the opportunity for him to change our hearts and know that he is looking over us always. Carter is survived by his incredible parents, Ben and Rachel; proud grandparents Randy & Elaine Klinger, Chris & Shelly Ford; great-grandparents Frances Breth, Brian & Marilyn Ford, Larry Kennebeck; aunts and uncles Sam Klinger & Brenna Chisholm, Olivia Klinger & Blaze Dorchincez, Alex & Brian Fravel, Ana Ford, Renae Ford; and an extended network of honorary aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is joined in heaven by his great-grandparents Arthur & Josephine Klinger, Michael Breth, Phyllis Kennebeck; and great-uncles Steven Klinger, Dave Breth, and Rich Achman. A private celebration of Carter’s life with family and close friends will be held at Sts. Anne & Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo, ND. In lieu of flowers, Ben and Rachel ask that you please make donations at bit.ly/klingerfamily as any excess funds will be donated to charities dedicated to infant loss research and family support in Carter’s name.
