Casey Arneson
July 18, 1994 ~ July 1, 2022
Casey’s Live Streamed Memorial can be viewed below. If something happens to wi-fi signal, the service is being recorded and the recording will be posted shortly after the service:
Casey “Deuce” Joe Arneson (27) of Fargo, ND was involved in an accident and welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, July 1, 2022, in Rochert, MN.
Casey was born on July 18, 1994, in Fargo, ND to Dell and Jackie Arneson. He graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2013 and was engaged to be married to Alison Goplen next month.
Casey was an avid outdoorsman. He lived to hunt and fish with his dad, brothers, and close friends. His favorite spots to hunt were at their farm in Mott, Tower City, and near Pelican Lake. We’d tell you where he loved to fish, but he wouldn’t want us giving out his most lucrative fishing coordinates.
Casey was a talented race car driver, and some of his happiest moments were behind the wheel of his #2 car. He was known in the racing community for his smile, humor, and fierce competition. “The Flying Deuce” was most proud of taking the checkered flag at the 2013 B-Mod Nationals in West Plains, MO.
Casey was employed at I-29 Trailer Sales. He wore many hats and wasn’t afraid of hard work. It wasn’t unusual to find him back in the shop, wearing a set of overalls, and getting his hands dirty.
Casey often bent the rules and got away with it because of his smile, quick wit, and charm. You couldn’t say “no” to Casey, and he knew it. He may have been the littlest brother, but he always had the biggest ideas.
Casey is survived by his fiancée, Alison Goplen; parents, Dell (Virginia) Arneson, and Jackie Arneson; brothers, Cale (Jill) Arneson, Levi (Hannah) Arneson, and Austin (Angela) Arneson; grandparents, Bob and Joanne Arneson; Nieces and nephews, Kate, Cooper, June, Emmett, Leo, and Walker; Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Camillas Stimmel; cousin, Jason Olson; and aunt, Deb (Arneson) Gaw.
A funeral service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church (South Campus) on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. (gathering an hour prior), followed by a burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home website for those unable to attend. After the burial, a celebration of Casey’s life will be held at “The Race Shop” at 15 S 14th St., Fargo, ND 58103
Casey wouldn’t want us making a fuss, so wear your jeans, racing shirt, Crocs, or cowboy boots.

We were so sorry to hear of Casey’s passing. All I can say is just remember all the good times you spent together. I’m sure there are way more than you guys can count, but take joy in every one of them as the days pass and a different memory comes flooding back, sometimes seemingly out of nowhere. There will probably be tears, but I’m sure a good laugh too. Our prayers are with you, your family, and all of Casey’s loved ones.
