Cecelia Fraase

Cecelia M. Fraase, 89, Fargo, ND, died Friday, July 20, 2007 at Innovis Hospital, Fargo. Cecelia Thimmesch was born November 22, 1917 in Jamestown, ND to John and Anne (Koenigs) Thimmesch. She lived in Windsor, ND where she grew up and attended school. In 1938, she graduated from Hilde Business College in Jamestown. She was the Post Mistress in Windsor for seven years. She married Hilbert B. (Shorty) Fraase on January 28, 1946. They owned and operated the locker plant and grocery store in Windsor. In 1958, they moved to White Bear Lake, MN and in 1965 moved back to Windsor. They moved to Fargo in 1967, and Cecelia worked for Newcomers Welcome Service for 20 years. In 1995 Shorty passed away. Cecelia entered Elim Care Center in October 2006. She is survived by her son, William (Joanne) Fraase, Fargo and daughter, Dena (Al) McKercher, Fargo. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her sister, Arlene Cegla, Fargo. The family would like to thank the staff of Innovis Palliative Care, especially Jodi Holman and the Hospice of the Red River Valley. Also, Dave and Karen Opsahl, very near and dear friends.
