Cedric, You and Leslie were part of our family throughout my whole life. You and my Dad were the best of friends and I remember back in the day you two would go to supper every Wed night at the Eagles Club. During my childhood, You and Leslie and kids would come to my Grandparents farm during wood cutting season and potato harvest and help. Then when we built our garage in 2005 you came to look at our electrical work for us, we appreciated that so much!! When we found out about your illness a couple years ago, it was hard to comprehend. Then last Sunday night, I got a call from my Dad. When I heard the news of your passing, my heart sank as I remember the last time You and Leslie met us all for lunch at Pizza Ranch last fall. When Leslie retired it was nice that you both were able to join us there for lunch when you could. On one end of the table us ladies would talk about current events, the kids, life, stories of me and my siblings when we were little and crafting or girl stuff and on the other end you men would discuss men stuff….cars, traveling, farming, the houses you and my Dad worked on and the past pheasant hunting trips to Mott together…..I sure enjoyed overhearing the stories of the good old days. One never knows when the last time is the last time. We’ll miss you! Rest in peace Cedric. Prayers of Comfort to The Sloan Family. ;
