Charles “Chuck” Hubert Klug, 73, passed away February 13, 2022 at Sanford Health Hospital, Fargo with his family by his side. Chuck was born November 13, 1948 in Fargo, ND to Hubert and Alma (Johnson) Klug. Chuck graduated from Central High in 1966. From there, he went into the Marines and served from 1968 to 1970. When Chuck got out of the service, he worked at Nodak Supply Appliances. He then moved to Lemon, SD for a few years before moving back to Fargo and worked for Federal Beef until they later closed. Chuck spent the remainder of his career at GPK for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, taking trips to the casino, and watching the Minnesota Vikings and Bison football. Chuck is survived by his mother Alma Klug; children, Michelle of Eden Prairie, MN, Nicole (Jason) of Mandan, ND, Charlene (Matt) of Fargo, ND; partner, DeAnn Johnson of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor, Mason, Mylee, Zoee, Emersyn, John, Hope; siblings, Betty (Roger) Thompson of Grand Forks, ND, Barbara (Wayne) Wise of Wolverton, MN, Curtis (Julie) Klug of Eagan, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Hubert; sister, Beverly Freeman; great nephew, Arron; and niece, Jennifer Taralson.

    So very sorry and shocked to hear of my cousin Charles passing. We are sending our deepest sympathy across the many miles and regret not being there in person for all of you. You were all so kind in attending my Mother’s services just a short time ago, and I want to show you the same support.     Sorry to hear of Charles passing. I was pallbearer for Hubert’s funeral, but I kind of lost track of the family after that. Still getting a Christmas card from Alma. She is quite a remarkable lady. Our sympathy to all the family.

  7. I’m sorry to hear about Charles’s passing. I think I last saw him at Beverly’s memorial and am glad I had a chance to reconnect with him and the rest of the family, albeit under very sad circumstances. My thoughts are with you all.

  9. It is with sadness that I hear of the passing of Charles. I’m so sorry for everyone in the family for he will be missed by everyone. I have the fondest memories of childhood with all the cousins on the farm playing, and with the oldest cousins, Charles and Denny and Rodney being their with us younger ones and how much fun all of us had together. I will treasure all these memories in my heart and I send all my love to Aunt Alma And my cousins. I wish I could be there in person to mourn with you. Love, wendy
