Charles “Chuck” Noesen, age 78, passed away on February 14, 2026. He was born on December 7, 1947, in Fargo, North Dakota.

Chuck was drafted into the United States Army in October 1966 and proudly served his country, including service in Vietnam. He attained the rank of Specialist Five (SP5, E-5). During his military service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and earned the Marksman qualification badge.

After completing his time in the Army, Chuck met the love of his life, Rose. They were married in October of 1969 and built their life together in Fargo. Together they raised two children, Tami and Todd. Todd and his wife Samantha have two children, Madison and Isabelle, who brought Chuck tremendous pride and joy.

Chuck was an entrepreneur throughout his career. He owned a data processing company, a telephone company, and most recently founded U.S. Licensing Company. He valued his independence and took pride in being his own boss.

He loved traveling to Florida, taking cruises, attending NASCAR races, and spending time enjoying life at Ottertail Lake. Whether on the water or on the road, he appreciated the simple pleasures of life.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; their children, Tami and Todd and his wife Samantha; his grandchildren, Madison and Isabelle; and his brother, Mike and his wife Julie. He was preceded in death by his daughter Theresa, his parents, Donald and Eleanor; his in-laws Ben and Clara McGruder; his brother, David; and his sister, Marcy and her husband, Jim Mack.
