Claire Andrud
February 15, 1962 ~ December 13, 2023
Claire J. Andrud was born February 15th, 1962. Those who knew Claire well, also knew he had “two birthdays” with a whirlwind of an explanation. Claire was adopted at a young age and attended and graduated high school in Litchville ND.
Upon graduation, Claire entered the workforce. He was a hard worker, who had his hands in several projects around the area. Building, roofing, and pouring concrete, among other things kept him busy. He enjoyed going to work everyday. Claire built his own home and took great pride in doing so.
Claire had many friends of all ages and from many walks of life. He was always willing to talk to anyone and ready to share a good story or two. He lived for riding his Harley and had the pleasure of experiencing Sturgis one last time this summer. Claire also loved listening to music and Kid Rock was one of his favorites. He could often be found tinkering with stereos in his vehicle or retrofitting the skid steer with a custom sound system. Claire had a rough and tough exterior appearance to him but had the most kind and caring heart. He would do anything for those he cared about.
Claire was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Isabelle Andrud and his beloved German Shepherd “Boss”. Claire is survived by many friends and family who will miss him greatly. A celebration of life is planned in his honor on June 1st, 2024 in Fort Ransom ND with additional details to follow.
May the road you travel be smooth and the wind always at your bike. Gonna miss seeing you around….
