I met his one son once. He also seemed like a very polite young man. I will miss Cody greatly. Thursdays will never be the same.
    Rest with the Lord Cody!!

  5. Karen & all, my condolences for you in the loss of Cody. It doesn’t seem that long ago he’d be with you in the halls of Hawley schools.

  6. Lord Jesus Christ, bring Cody safely to your kingdom. Flood our hearts with love and friendship to support one another, to bring comfort to those in pain, to love one another regardless of indifference, for each one of us have been touched differently by Cody. Allow them to receive forgiveness through our pious prayer, which they have always been yearning. For this I pray through Jesus, Our Lord. Amen

  7. Cody grew up in Hawley and was in TaeKwonDo for some time with my brother, Tyler, and I. He was an amazing friend then, and from time to time I’d see out and about Fargo or speak with him on Facebook. I will always have fond memories of him and he will never be forgotten. My prayers and thoughts are with his sons and family. Rest In Peace, friend.

  13. Oh Cody, you will be so missed. I don’t know who will ever give me the bear hugs that you always did. When I saw you at Sam’s wedding I didn’t know it would be the last time. I am an old lady, I was supposed to go first. You and I talked about this. We agreed that at my age I would go first. Remember you told me that when I got there I was supposed to get a message to you somehow that there really is a life after. I know you know that now. You asked me to meet you at the gate to help you get in, LOL. Now I will have to ask you to do that bargaining with St Peter instead when I get there. I wish we could go back and change whatever happened. However, I do know you would not come back if you were allowed. Who would ever want to leave Heaven once you have come face to face with our Father. Watch over your babies and Megan from where you are. Until we meet again, I will miss you. I am serious though, please meet me at the gate, I might need to know somebody who knows somebody to get in. Love you Cody. Rest now.

  14. Karen, Steve, and Family,

Lots of love sent your way,

  25. Steve, Karen, Tara, & Mason,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Growing up friends with Tara I have countless memories with your family. So many hilarious stories and fun times with everyone. Cody had such a lightning quick and razor sharp wit that was at times hard to appreciate when you were at the receiving end of it. It typically left me sputtering wondering, gosh how did he think of something so clever SO quick? He had his soft side too, he took pity on his little sister’s friend and took me to junior prom at Shanley. Thank you Cody, and Krebsbachs for always making me laugh. I hope you all can find comfort in one another and possibly some unique humor in one another like Cody always did.

  26. I attended Shanley with Cody as a Freshman. I have not had an interaction with him since then, but I sure do remember his great smile and laugh. It was so contagious. My condolences to all of his family and close friends. May he rest in peace now.
