Colleen Arlyss Einerson

Colleen “Sugar” Kilfoyl Einerson (87) passed away on July 2nd, 2024, in Surprise, AZ. Colleen was born June 3, 1937, in Joliet IL to Richard and Grace Kilfoyl. She grew up on the family farm north of Fargo, ND and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1955. She was married to Theodore “Ted” Hanson in 1956. Together they raised two sons, Dana and Tadd. In 1984 Colleen married David Einerson. They made their home in Arizona where they worked together before retirement.

Colleen enjoyed Indy Car racing, bowling, spending time with friends and family and decorating for the holidays. She is survived by her son Dana (Jane) Hanson, four grandchildren; Jennifer (Adam) Gourneau, Melissa Hanson, Justin (Katelyn) Hanson, Nick Hanson. Three step grandchildren, Cody (Becca) Einerson, Courtney McNamee, Abby Einerson, eight great grandchildren, Brother Jerry Kilfoyl and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Tadd Hanson, husband David Einerson, siblings Don Kilfoyl, Sharon Toussaint and her parents.
