Corinne A. Dahl

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Corinne A. Dahl, who passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on June 15, 2026, at the age of 88.

Corinne was hardworking and always up for an adventure. She and her husband, Maynard, started their family in Minot, ND before buying the Anchor Inn at Lake Metigoshe, where they raised their three children and developed some lifelong friendships. These friendships led them to Austin, TX for a few years, then to Williston, ND and finally to Spencer, IA where they stayed for many years working and travelling. Corinne had such a strong work ethic and loved all the people she worked with. She finally retired at the age of 83. She was known for her kindness, strength, and generous spirit. Her unwavering support, compassion, and dedication touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She had a deeply welcoming heart and made everyone feel like family. She lovingly embraced her step-grandchildren as her own, offering them the same unconditional love, guidance, and support that she gave to all her children and grandchildren. Corinne loved to travel and went to many special places around the world with her husband and sisters. She found joy in spending time with family and creating lasting memories with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loved ones. Her love, guidance, and warmth will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Corinne was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Bertha Selland and her husband, Maynard Dahl.

Corinne is survived by her children, sons Steven (Pam) Dahl, Jeffrey (Sara) Dahl, and daughter Carrie (Scott) Rensberger. She adored her eight grandchildren, Cassie, Mackenzie, Sammantha, Brittany, Courtney, Anthony, Zachary, and Abigail, and her great grandchildren Kolter Thor and Otto Cordel. She also leaves behind three sisters, Marjorie Moorhead, Beverly (Don) Ellingsberg, Diane (Harley) Friesleben and numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, followed by a celebration of Corinne’s life on August 8, 2026, at Steve’s home in Sabin, MN. We invite all friends and family to join us in honoring her memory and sharing stories of the remarkable woman she was.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Farmstead Villa in Moorhead, MN and the dedicated caregiver nurses from HIA Hospice in Fargo for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your favorite charity in her honor.

Though she is no longer with us, her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
