Curtis Nielsen

Curtis passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Essentia Health at the age of 81.
Curtis Nielsen was born to Roy and Bernice (Barnhill) on April 16, 1931 near Becida, MN. Upon completing his education, Curtis enlisted in the Army and retired after 23 years of service. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending summers at the lake, fishing, and making furniture for family and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; a sister; and his fishing buddy Buford (a much-loved Yorkie.)
Curtis was affectionately known as Grandpa Don by his 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He will be great missed by his family and life-long friends Dave and Anita.
