Cynthia Larson
August 9, 1969 ~ May 22, 2012
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved companion, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Cindy Larson.
She was born August 9, 1969 in Fargo, ND to Ron and Gloria Olson and her untimely death was Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
Cindy was very active in sports, she loved to play softball and to bowl. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and her Dallas Cowboys. She always made time to support her friends and family in whatever they were involved in doing. She was our party planner in the family, always making sure everything was taken care of.
You could find Cindy with her family on Lake Lida many days during the summer. She loved fishing and being outside in the summer months.
Her great joy was being a mother to her boys, Wyatt and Lee and a new grandmother to Aubrey. She was a thoughtful companion, loving daughter, sister, aunt and loyal friend.
Left to cherish her memory are her fiancé Doug Gustafson; two sons, Wyatt Larson and Lee Gustafson; granddaughter, Aubrey Larson; parents, Ron and Gloria Olson; brother, Troy (Laura) Olson; sister-in-law, Londa Olson; nephew, Chad Olson; nieces, Alisha Dodd, Hailey Olson and Sara Olson; great nephew and niece, Jack and Avree Olson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ronald Olson Jr.
A smile for all, a heart of gold, the best the world could ever hold. Those we love don’t go away…they walk beside us every day.
Her beautiful smile and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her. We love you Cindy and miss you more than words can say!

Cindy will be greatly missed by all of us and we will miss all of the fun we had bowling together and hagning out.
To Lee, Wyatt, Aubrey and her most loved beautiful family members (all). No matter the words I write they never seem to be enough or just. Each day since the words were spoken, I think to our Miss Cindy. As all, I find myself at moments stricken at other times I find myself meditating on the most fondest of memories. Cindy walked everyday by embracing, feeling and living each moment life offered her. She helped me to embrace, feel and live each day. She was my Ya Ya-BIB.. Forever I will walk with a void also remembering to embrace each moment as Miss Cindy always did, everyday! I love you Miss Cindy Lou, Miss Tina…

My thoughts and prayers are with Cindy’s family. She will be greatly missed by a lot of people. The thing I remember most about Cindy is how much fun she was to be around and how much she liked to give Vikings fans crap when her Cowboys beat them 🙂 Rest in peace Cindy—you were truly a great person.
With my deepest sympathy to Cindy’s family, I am so sorry for your loss. She was an incredible woman with a zest for life. I feel so honored and privileged to have known her. I loved working with her because she made so many nights fun and taught me so much. She will be greatly missed.
I am shocked and heartbroken…Cindy was such a sweet soul, a straight shooter, who told it how it was, but in the nicest of ways. I first met Cindy when we played softball together the for the Silver Dollar many years ago. We had lots of fun Wednesday’s together…then I got a job with her dealing blackjack…Cindy was always fun to work with, and as always, was kind to even the “not so fun” customers. Cindy loved her family, loved being a mom, and especially a new gramma…one of the last conversations we had was about how she and Doug planned on doing lots of traveling in about 5 years…when Lee was all grown up… I am so sorry for your loss! NPPA will not be the same without you, Cindy! Rest in Peace, Dear Friend!
