Dana Nevaeh Allen, known to her loved ones as Dana, passed away on October 31, 2023, in Fargo, North Dakota, at the age of 21. She was born on February 14, 2002, in Enterprise, Alabama. Dana was a vibrant and charismatic individual, always the life of any gathering. She had a genuine interest in getting to know people on a deeper level and was not afraid to speak her mind. Her magnetic personality could brighten anyone’s day, and she had the ability to leave a lasting impression with her infectious smile. Dana was a straight shooter who stood her ground but also had a heart of gold. She was always willing to go the extra mile for her loved ones, offering support and love unconditionally. Dana’s kindness extended beyond her lifetime, as she selflessly donated her organs, providing second chances to five fortunate recipients. Her legacy of love and hope will continue to live on, and her gift of sight will bless another individual.
Dana is survived by her parents, Nicholas and Kenya Marie Engmann, her sister Tiffany Engmann and brother-in-law Igor Gerasenko, her brother CJ Engmann and sister-in-law Cassandra Engmann, her niece Scarlett Engmann, her nephew Braxley Engmann, her niece Sadie Engmann, and her grandparents Gary and Michelle Engmann. She is also survived by her biological father and stepmother, Mark and Kelli Allen, her biological sister Jada Allen, her biological sister Bree Anna Allen, her biological brother Christopher Allen, her stepbrother Troy Dawson, and her biological grandparents Gaylon and Dale Allen.
Additionally, Dana is survived by her biological mother Tenya Knoebel, her biological sister Trinity Barron, her biological brother Gabriel Barron, her brother Lance Bengochea, her sister Katlyn Gavin, her brother Justice Bergochea, her sister Alexeya (Lexie) Jordan, and several aunts, uncles, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Gloria Knoebel, grandfather Ed Knoebel, aunt Pat Broome, and biological grandmother Charlotte Allen.
A celebration of love and joy to commemorate Dana’s (Nae Nae) brief but immeasurable life of love and laughter will be held in Williston, ND. The ceremony will be a reflection of the joy she brought to those around her and the lasting impact she made. Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo, ND, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Dana Nevaeh Allen will be deeply missed, loved, and never forgotten. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
