Daniel Samuelson

Daniel passed away December 17, 2018 at his residence in Aneta, North Dakota. Daniel was born in Hamar, North Dakota January 23, 1936. He moved to Fargo to attend Oak Grove Highschool in 1954. He married JoAnn Olsen on March 24, 1956. They had six children and divorced in 1966. He then married Elaine Kluver-Vise in 1969. They had twin boys Neil and Howard. He managed the M and J Steakhouse and saloon in West Fargo. He then was a mechanic for gateway Chevrolet until he retired and moved to a hobby farm outside of Aneta, North Dakota. He enjoyed fishing, fixing anything mechanical, his dogs, queenie and Maya, his many chickens. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Petra; wife, Elaine; son, Howard; siblings, Anna, Selma, Clara, Emma, and Martin. Daniel is survived by children, Neil (Corina), Daniel Jr (Sherri), Joddie, Randy, Marshall (Jolene), and Scott (Connie), Julie (Randy); stepchildren, Dean Vise, Debra Vise-Jacobson, Randy Vise, Troy David Vise, and Todd Vise; brother, Sam; 27 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
