Darlene Fox

January 4, 1978 ~ November 3, 2020
Darlene "Dar" Michelle Fox, 42, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday November 3, 2020.
Darlene was born to Jewel Zephier and Larry Flying on January 4, 1978 in Rapid City, South Dakota.
She married Josh Fox on September 10, 1999. Together they raised five beautiful children, Pernell (26), Joshua (21), Quinci (19), Desciah (16), and Shaykeya, Josh's youngest sister. She was a homemaker for many years and loved being a mother most of all.
Darlene grew up playing basketball in school and passed on her love of the sport to her children. You could always find her cheering on the sidelines of her children's games. She was always so proud of each of her children and would have their pictures pinned to her coat or hanging on the walls of their home. She also loved family gatherings, which were always made better with a few rounds of Bingo. She managed to build great skill in a game of chance. She loved joking around with her brother and sisters, and being the crazy auntie Dar. She will be remembered for her wit, fashion sense, and her love for music. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
She is survived her husband, children, brother, Wayne (Mona), and sisters, Charleen and Laryssa (Joseph) along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her grandmother Victoria, mother Jewel, father Larry, sister Evon, cousin small bill, and best friend Celeste.
You will be missed and remembered. Fly high Darlene!
I am so saddened to hear of Darlene’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and one of my favorite customers. She had a great smile. Prayers and condolences for Darlene and family.
Condolences to the family
RIP Darlene. You are my mother’s namesake and if she could be there she would. She is in the hospital but we will say a prayer for you and our family. Our sympathies to your children, siblings and all of our family members.
