Memories Timeline

  1. Just discovered today Aug 22, 2018 of my good friend, mentor and encouragers’ passing back in 2008. Fr Wild was the masculine presence that I needed in my teen years to demonstrate compassion, service, accountability, discipline and commitment in those volatile and uncertain years while passing thru my teens in the 1960s. I am also just now made aware of the allegations made against him with regard to sexual abuse . I will categorically state here and in a court of law that I never experienced nor did I observe any of those improprieties in any of my association with him which extended from about 1965 thru 1974.

  2. I knew Father David Wild for many years and greatly respected him for being a Priest. I was shocked and saddened when hearing of allegations since I only knew of his kindness and goodwill serving Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Holy Cross Catholic Church.
