David Alan Luptak, 51, passed away July 20, 2023 in Fargo.

David was born September 16, 1971 to Alan and Jolene (Engelking) Luptak. He attended grade school and graduated from West Fargo Community High School. David continued his education at Moorhead Tech School, earning a degree in business and went on to work for McNelius Steel for many years. David enjoyed many things such as camping, fishing, playing darts, and showing off his dance moves at the moondance. Most of all David loved the time he spent with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

David is survived by his children, Kaylee Wolff of Fargo, ND, Zachary Luptak of Enderlin, ND, Tessa (Travis) Baulmer of Enderlin, ND; parents, Alan and Jolene Luptak of Fargo; grandchildren, Henley, Landyn, Octavia, and Orlando Wolff, Talia and Talon Baulmer; sister, Amy (Darren) Cossette of Horace, ND; nieces, Jordan, Madeline, and Allison Cossette; uncles, Steven Engelking of Fertile, MN, Michael (Julie) Engelking of Moorhead, MN, Tim Sauvageau of Barnesville, MN; aunts, Debbie Barnet of Moorhead, MN, Janet Luptak of Arizona; and 13 cousins.

David was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Luptak; grandparents, Charles and Gladys Luptak, Roy and Bonnie Engelking; uncles, Duane Luptak, Daniel Engelking; aunt, Terry Sauvageau; and cousin, Jasen Sauvageau

A memorial service will take place at 7:00 PM Friday, July 28, 2023 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services. A private graveside service will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.

  4. Back in Elementary school We had show and tell and David brought in a boom box and the Billy Joel tape and played it.. now every time I hear Billy Joel, I will think of David.. RIP David.
