Dennis Lee

Dennis Lee, age 64, Detroit Lakes, MN, formerly of Kindred, ND, died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at his home. Dennis Wilbur Lee was born July 11, 1939, in Fargo, ND, the son of Tallef and Beatrice (Sorlie) Lee. He grew up and attended school in Kindred, graduating from high school in 1957. He married Shirley Haberman on September 10, 1960. They lived on the family farm until 1991, when he moved to Fargo. In 1992 he moved to the Detroit Lakes area. Most recently he was employed by Lutheran Social Services and J.B. Realty. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with family and friends at the lake. He was a member of the Fargo Elks, El-Zagel Shrine, Kindred Wildlife, and was on the advisory board of the ND State Game & Fish Department. He is survived by two daughters, Idette (Judd) Graham, Grand Forks, ND, and Denise (Mike) Heglie, Walcott, ND; one son, Lyndon (Julie) Lee, Kindred, ND; two brothers, Eugene (Delores), Bigfork, MT, and Rodney, Lake Park, MN; two sisters, Altha Johnson, Kindred, and Dallas (Rodger) Christiansen, Fargo; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tallef and Beatrice Lee. Visitation: Thursday from 4-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
