Thinking of you, your theory on sheets, and men being on a hanger in the closet — always brought a smile to my face. Thoughts and prayers for the family as they go through this transition.
thanks for all your work and participation over the years with the Democratic party
and for joining Nancy for a Bowman trip to help celebrate our heritage. God rest
I will be forever grateful to have met you Dianne. I know you spent many years feeling that you were not wanted or loved, but regardless you made your mark and raised a new family. I’m glad that I was able to find you and let you know that your brother Gary never forgot meeting you that day long ago and for many years he did try to find you. I’m so grateful that he shared that story so that I could continue his search. I’m sorry he didn’t get a chance to meet you in this life, but I truly believe yall have now finally personally met and have eternity to get to know each other!!
I grew up with Katie. Distance separates us but we are bonded by our comradary during those crazy teenage years.
Dianne was an incredible mother, always welcoming her children’s friends. She loved having her kids around and truly cared about their friends. I don’t remember ever getting mad. It was a safe place for me when home wasn’t.
She entertained us many nights with stories of strange things that occurred near the river decades ago.
I wish Dianne’s family would have had time to say goodbye, her death was too sudden. My heart and prayers go out to all of her children, their children and all of the friends who cherished her.
Diane and I met in the First Grade at Woodrow Wilson Grade School and were friends from that time on. When Dick and I married our first apartment was upstairs in Diane and Paul’s house. When my mother was elderly Diane helped us a great deal. I knew her daughters best. I have many photos of Shelly around age three and a few of Katie making cinnamon rolls with my mother instructing. I share these wonderful memories as I think of all the times Diane and I were together. Although we did not see each other much in these last decades I have many, many fond memories of our friendship. She will be missed. My prayers are with the family.
I knew and worked with Diane as a member of Dem. Women. She was instrumental in the changing of our name to Dem Women Plus. Sincere condolence’s to her family. Arlene Josal
Keeping Dianne’s family close in heart as they prepare to send her on. I am most grateful to Dianne for her big, empathetic heart which she passed on to her son Paul, and her blessing on Paul when he joined our family by marrying Miriam. She was a generous soul.
I will always love you and so will your girls Madi and Sophie . So many memories so many holidays . Such spunk you had ! And such a great storyteller . Loved watching John Stewart and Colbert with you and laughing so hard . Thank you for always being my friend .
RIP my friend of fifty plus years. I miss you my dear friend!
