Dolores L. Malnory, 82, of Fargo, ND died Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo.

Dolores was born on January 19, 1928 to Oliver "Roy" and Selma (Voie) Buck in Waupaca, Wisconsin. She married Arden W. Malnory on November  5, 1949 in Waupaca, Wisconsin and they  enjoyed 60 years together.   Dolores sold Avon and spent many years as church secretary at Maria Lutheran Church in Kennedy, MN.

Dolores was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family.  She warmed the hearts of many around her with her sweet smile and caring disposition.  Her family  was the highlight of her life. One of her favorite outings was to shop and socialize at the mall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arden, parents, and 2 brothers.

Dolores is survived by her son, Glenn (Beverly) Malnory of Fargo, ND; daughter, Kay (Gary) Hultgren of Kennedy, MN; grandchildren, Tina (Jon) Turn of Kennedy, MN, Erin Malnory (fiancé, Michael Busch), of Eden Prairie, MN, Megan (Brad Fredrickson) of Bloomington, MN and great-granddaughters, Alexis, Marlee, Morgan, and Brenna Turn.

  2. Delores and Arden were neighbors of ours when we first moved to Fargo from Canada. They were such great people and we kept in touch up to Christmas this year. We were saddened to hear about Arden and now Delores. They are both together and we are grateful for having been able to have them in our lives. Our sympathys go to their children and their families.

  3. Parish FLI wish to extend my condolences to the Malnory family, especially Kay and Glenn. My memories of Delores was that she was sweet and tender hearted who loved her family. I pray she is bathed in Christ’s love now.

  4. Westerville OhioAuntie Dolores Has always had a special place in our hearts. We enjoyed sending her weekly cards and letters,and receiving cards letters and phone calls from her. She will be deeply missed. Our prayers are with you Glenn and Kay at this sad time.

  5. Reston VaAunt Delores, was special as her Faith Journey showed thru and thru. A great believer in our Lord and he will accept her in a special way.
    I was fortunate to spend some time with her last summer, while driving on the way to Canada on business. Our pictures and prayers together will be the memory I cherrish.
