  8. Connie and family , I’m so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I enjoyed the many, many times I called on your Minot office when I was working with Walman Optical. My deepest condolences.

  9. Connie & family, I’m so sorry to read of Don’s death. I had worked for Dr. Coons & Don hired me when he bought out Dr. Coons practice. My name at the time was Renee Stark & I enjoyed my time working for Don. He was very easy to work for & showed me what a good boss should be like. I was an optician for over 30 years & attribute his training & guidance to that longevity. May he rest in peace & your memories bring you comfort and peace.

  10. My sympathies to Connie and family. Don was my optometrist for years; I remember we shared the oddity of having one far-sighted eye and one near-sighted. And, of course, we are cousins, sharing Bjelland blood. May you all find comfort in your faith and the love of family and friends.

  11. So sorry to hear of Don’s passing. Thankful for the memories as neighbors and visits and a tour of his Indian Museum at your house. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Lani & Don

  12. Our sympathy to our old Green Acres neighbor. So sorry to hear of Don’s passing. Heaven will be filled with his beautiful dahlias.
