Memories Timeline

  1. With dearest sympathy to Donald Kruger’s family. I wanted to share something encouraging with you. Would you like to see your beloved Joseph again? Of course you would. The bible holds out a promise, at John 5:28,29, it says, “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement.” and Ps 37:10,11,29 speaks of where they will be resurrected back to life…it says, “And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more and you will certainly give attention to this place and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” What a wonderful hope that is!
I lost my dad a couple months ago to cancer, he was 71 and I long to see him again soon. I know that according to the bible that after God’s day arrives, I will see him again, and that until then he is only sleeping (Eccl.9:5,10)
That brings me so much comfort and I was hoping to bring you comfort as well in this difficult time.

  2. Moorhead MN
I will always miss my good friend! We had fun doing many things together. The most fun was going to Steam Threshers in Rollag and Shady Hollow. Also, we enjoyed antique shops together looking at Budweiser steins. I miss you Donny!
I too will miss Donny’s friendly smile and his visits here at our home and the conversations.

  3. Moorhead MN
I see you have your birthday shirt on !
I so enjoyed the company of Donny . Sitting in his driveway honking horn till he came out to go along with Dort and me to eat or maybe just take a drive thru the hood . He was a great guy. My sympathy goes out to entire family.

  4. Fargo ND
Larry, I am so sorry to hear the loss of your dad. As you know, I hadn’t seen Don in a number of years but all the memories I have of him are filled with happiness. He always had a smile for me! I remember him carefully drawing a tattoo with a pen on my forearm while I sat on Bob and Carol’s kitchen counter. I thought it was the coolest thing ever! I hope you find comfort and healing in the memories of Don. You are in my thoughts and prayers!
