Donna Mae Bennett passed away under the care of Hospice on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at St Catherine South.

Donna Mae Bennett was born in DeLamere, North Dakota on November 17, 1958 to her loving parents, Hank and Janice (Brown) Bennett.

Throughout her education she attended schools in Milnor, Lisbon, and McLeod. She completed her education when she graduated high school in 1976.

After completing school, Donna moved to Fargo. She lived at Svee Home group home and worked various jobs in kitchens and hospitality. Some of her favorite employers were Radisson, grainary, and NDSU.

Donna was the kind of person who always had a smile on her face no matter what was happening. She loved dancing, playing cards, and spending time with her beloved family…especially her grandchildren.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents; Hank and Janice Bennett; her grandson, Isaiah, her sisters; Marlene Ray and Darlene Kay, and her brother, Robert Wayne.

She is survived by her daughter; Amanda (Troy) Gartner, grandchildren; Charissa Emineth, Kaci Gooderum, Kylie Gooderum, Adyson Jones, and Mya Jones, her sisters; Sherry Bennett (Ervin Peterson), Lois Bennett, and Karen Bennett, and a special family friend; Mark Helfter.

Donna will forever be remembered as a kind, outgoing, and joyful person who greeted everyone with a smile.

There will be a prayer service held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Boulger Funeral Home with one hour of visitation prior. There will also be a funeral service held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Boulger Funeral Home with one hour of visitation prior. She will be laid to rest at Lakeside Cemetery in Milnor, ND.

  6. Sweet, Donna Mae,we first met while we both were working at the Grainery about 37 years ago. You always had a smile on your face.Then we met up again at CLS…you shared some stories with me,talking about your daughter and grandkids. I assisted you with some exercises at CLS…it took us awhile we were busy chatting. Rest in peace Donna Mae….

I will miss Donna deeply she always laughs & happy all of the time she up in heaven w/all of her family tree that passed away before Donna Bennett so she isn’t alone in heaven she is w/family up in heaven that also passed away before Donna just remember the funny fun & happy times you had w/Donna to get thru every day.

  8. Sorry for the familys loss. Its not easy to lose a loved one but sometimes its best for them. Donna was always so nice when we would see her in fargo she would always come and visit with us. RIP
