Doreen Pearson

Doreen Wateland Pearson, 74, Fargo, ND, died Monday January 27, 2020 in Sanford Health. Doreen Lorraine Wateland was born on October 4, 1945 to Orville and Dorothy Wateland at St. John’s Hospital in Fargo. Doreen grew up in Davenport, ND and attended school in Fargo and later attended vocational training. Doreen was married to Richard Pearson until their divorce in 1966. They had a son Lawrence. Doreen enjoyed visiting her son and her friends at Hardees and Taco Johns, along with riding the city bus. Doreen received support from Community Living Services for several years and really enjoyed spending time with her staff. She especially enjoyed making strawberry rhubarb jam with Kim from Community Living Services. Doreen moved to Elim Nursing Home in January 2017. Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February, 4, 2020 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo.
