    Marty and family,

I heard of your Mom’s passing this morning in church. We have been praying for her for quite some time, so I know she had some challenging final days. May you find peace in knowing she is now in a greater place with no more sickness or pain. You will be in my prayers. Much love to you!

My entire life has been blessed by Doris not just an aunt but as my friend. She was a gentle soul who loved and was deeply loved by all who met and knew her. I feel as though I am somewhat greedy to not want her to leave yet we all know that it was time for her to be at peace. I am so thankful for what she has taught me throughout the years. When people would ask how she was I would say she is the same as when she lived her never changes looks exactly the same. To me she never aged and never became a different person. I will cherish her forever. God blessed our family with her and I know we three girls felt as though we were her girls. Yes I will miss her and I rejoice and thank God for giving her to us. Bonnie

  7. Orlando FlAunt Doris was very special to me. Growing up I spent alot of time with her and she always made me feel like one of her sons. I have so many wonderful memories of her and I will cherish them for the rest of my life.. God Blessed us all with her love. I will miss dearly but know she will always have a special place in my heart.

  8. Orlando FlHow Blessed we all have been to have had Doris in our life. She was truly an angle on earth. Her gentle way, her warm heart and giving soul have left an impression on all who have known her. I will miss her more than words can say. Danny, Larry, Marty and families, my deepest sympathy. The memories Aunt Doris has left behind will be cherished for ever.
    Love to all,

This world will not be the same without this very special lady!!! I first met Doris 16 years ago when I was pregnant with my son Austin. She put an ad in the Fargo Forum stating “loving Grandma looking to take care of children”. I met Doris and that was it!!!! She became part of our family and especially a very important part of our son Austin’s life!!! She took care of Austin starting at 2 weeks old and continued a relationship with him until she passed away. She was so special to us and will be dearly missed!!!!

  11. I am so sorry to hear about Doris. I want to give my sincerest condolences to the family and all her friends. I just hope the all your wonderful memories and the words found at John 5:28,29 and the hope of the earthly resurrection contained there can bring you some comfort during this time.
