Dorothy passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Eventide Lutheran Home in Moorhead at the age of 94. Dorothy Mae Jacklitch was born on July 28, 1921 in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Oscar and Opal (Cable) Jacklitch. As a young girl she moved with her family to a farm near Tenney, MN. She graduated from Tintah High School in Tintah, MN. Following her education she proudly served her country in the United States Navy for two years during WWII where she was stationed in Hawaii. Dorothy moved to Fargo after her discharge, where she graduated from the New York Academy of Hairdressing. Dorothy was united in marriage to Clyde R. Stuck on February 22, 1947 in Moorhead, MN. The couple moved to Minneapolis, MN, and later to Concord, CA. After the couple divorced she moved to Chicago, IL. Dorothy was united in marriage to Ernest R. Muniz in Chicago on October 26, 1968. She made her home in Chicago until she moved to Waukegean, IL in 1974, living there until she moved back to Fargo in 1993. She is survived by her sisters - Patricia Jacklitch of East Grand Forks, MN and Gayle (Jim) Mousseau of Fargo, ND; her nephews - Terry Waite of East Grand Forks, MN and Mark (Laney) Mousseau of Glyndon, MN; her nieces - Barbara Sletmoe of Fargo, ND; Judy (Larry) Olson of Dent, MN; and Janet (Lee) Engebretson of Moorhead, MN; her two grandchildren - Tonya (Adrian) Masters and Alex Poplin of California; and one great granddaughter, Abigail Masters. She was preceded in death by her daughters - Connie Rae Poplin in 1990 and Bonnie Kay Stuck in 2015; and her sisters - Nadine Waite in 1991 and Ione Seidel in 2005.
